O.K. Zee this is for you. Bob circa 1968/69 taken when I was at Art School in Derby, England. I have spent the last day going through boxes and boxes of old pictures. I am completely amazed at quantity of memorabilia that collects over a view decades. I realize that I have to organize it in some meaningful way otherwise it will make absolutely no sense to my children when I'm gone.
Tomorrow will see the return to regular posts and new pictures.

My father-in-law died early on Tuesday morning after a short illness. He was 88 years old. This is the last picture I made of him just a few weeks ago at his home in Kitchener, Ontario. He lived a good life and enjoyed it right up until the end; he was shoveling snow a week ago for goodness sake. He was of a dying breed. Brought up on an Ontario farm, he enjoyed telling stories especially of his early days when in the middle of winter he would take a horse and cutter to reach the one room school house where he received his early education. He did well, becoming a veterinarian and farmer himself. All his family and friends including his ten grandchildren will miss him dearly.
