To hear Lori Cullen sing live is to be in the presence of angels. When I looked around at the packed house of the Montreal Bistro tonight, halfway through her first set, it was not only me that Lori had in the palm of her hand. Lori Cullen sings with a directness and connectedness that is so right for our time that I doubt if I was the only person that left tonight's concert believing that indeed, at least in this little corner of it, the Universe may just be unfolding as it should. Beautiful!

A collection of hand picked mature songs that highlight the craft of song writing and the emotional power of a direct and intimate lyric. Although recorded with a jazz ensemble overdubs of harps, strings and vocal harmonies direct certain tracks to a more pop feel.

Jaymz Bee put on another fabulous show last night: Reg Schwager, Lorne Lofsky, Tony Quarrington, Kevin Barrett, Danny Marks and Jake Langley with the Robi Botos Trio on back-up [Robi Botos (piano) Atillia Darvas (bass) Frank Botos (drums)], played to a "sold out" standing room only crowd at the MOD Club. Wow!
